S2S 6.22.25 Update

This week two very different events happened in two different corners of Zambia.

First of all, in Solwezi, which is in far northern Zambia, our second clean water project was completed. I am posting this in our new website, and IĀ haven't yet figured out how to get a video attached. So I attached a picture of the some of the area leadership that came out to witness the significant event as it was unfolding. The first time this particular community has ever had a clean water source.

Secondly, three of our guys spent the week in the far eastern part of Zambia. Initially in Mambwe to double check the work that was done in May purchasing and distributing maize harvest to many churches in that area. Then backtracking to Chipata, where they had several meetings with community leadership about the harvest program in their areas. They left trusted leaders in charge of acquiring and distributing the maize to the church communities there.

Since IĀ am now typing on a screen that looks unfamiliar to me, let me just say another HUGEĀ thank you to Matt, the leader of one of our American church communities, who is responsible for the wonderful new website where IĀ am typing this post. We are excited to see how this new tool might advance the efforts of this work in both America - as we encourage our American brothers and sisters to share from our surplus, and in Zambia - as we continue to work to make their mealtimes more filling.
